The board of directors announces the appointment of Bryan Smith as Chairman of the Board, and William C. Smith as President.

1986
In 1986, the Windsor location moves its operation into a more modern facility that provided state-of-the-art training facilities in which Electrozad could train its employees and customers about new product information. The first branch of the company opens in Chatham the same year as Windsor's expansion to service the mixed industrial community of Chatham-Kent. Also that year, the Sarnia location celebrates its 25th anniversary.

1987
In 1987, Electrozad Windsor is honoured by the City of Windsor with a Civic Beautification Award.
