Allen-Bradley® Bulletin 875 Capacitive Proximity Sensors have an adjustable sensing distance and are ideal for applications that can be challenging for other sensing technologies. Capacitive sensors can detect non-metal solids and liquids in addition to standard metal targets. They can even sense the presence of some targets through certain other materials, making them an ideal choice in those applications where other technologies cannot be used. Available in cylindrical or miniature rectangular models, these sensors are resistant to humidity and dust and feature improved immunity to electromagnetic interference (EMI), especially that created by drives. Specific models are IO-Link enabled to help minimize downtime and increase productivity.

Allen-Bradley® Capacitive Sensor Cylindrical Housing, DC Shielded, 8 mm Sensing Distance, Normally Open PNP, 18 mm Barrel Diameter, DC Micro Quick Disconnect , IO-Link Version

  • A complete family. Availability in M18 in a robust PBT housing with an operation of 2…10 mm (0.08…0.39 in.) flush or 3…15 mm (0.12…0.59 in.) non-flush
  • The output can be operated either as a switching output or in IO-Link mode
  • Fully configurable via output IO-Link v 1.1. Electrical outputs can be configured as PNP/NPN/Push-pull/External input, normally open or normally closed
  • Timer functions can be set, such as on-delay, off-delay, and one shots
  • Logging functions: temperatures, detection counter, power cycles, and operating hours
  • Detection modes: single-point, two-point, and window mode
  • Analog output: In IO-Link mode, the sensor generates 16-bit analog process data output that represents the dielectric value that the sensor measures.
